The diameter of the baseball bat is 2.75 inches of thickness and its length is 42 inches. The weight of the baseball bat is 1kg. The players hit the ball by holding the baseball in the two hands. Baseball bat is a heavy and its swing to hit the ball makes the ball to go for some distance so that the hitter may be able to run.
Baseball bat is made in way that the hitter can have a balance swing. The baseball bat can be divided into several parts. The thickest part of the baseball is barrel and this part is used to hit the ball. This part of the baseball bat is called sweet part due to its construction. The end of the barrel of the base ball bat is called tip or end of the bat. At the handle of the baseball bat, the barrel becomes narrow. The handle of the baseball bat is thin so that the player can have a good grip to hit the ball.
The wider part of the baseball bat is called knob and it helps sliding out. There has had been many styles and designs of the baseball bat and there were many changes made in the baseball bat. Normally the wooden baseball bat is used but sometime special metal baseball bat is also used. Special wood is used for making the baseball bat but the standard is that the baseball bat should be made up with safe solid uniform material. The diameter of the baseball bat is different for the different level of players like it will be not more than 2.25 inches for young players.
