The logistics are delivered to the people to meet out their requirements. Transportation, warehousing, material handling and packaging are normally involved in logistics. It was basically originated for the military requirements to supply different things.
Logistics management involves in the supply of goods form one place to the other place. This management determines the requirements of the goods and then makes arrangements of supplying goods to the logistics. The art of managing and controlling goods, products and services is known as logistics. Market place is very important for the logistics and there must be potential consumer exist in that particular market. The business concept of the logistics is very important and it evolved quite recently. Due to the increase in demands of goods and shortage of goods in the market, the importance of logistics has increased as well.
Logistics is normally divided in to two main parts, inbound logistics and outbound logistics and these types cover all the aspects of business and flow of goods. Transportation is an important factor for the logistics. Production logistics is responsible that right machine is fed to produce the right product and it is also responsible for the quantity and quality of goods. Production logistics can be helpful for existing as well as new plants. The customer response can be judged by the effective logistics. Logistics is very impor5tant thing for the business as it deliver your products to the customers and if your products are not delivered to the customers than there is no advantage of producing that product.
