Balls are the small and large objects which are used in games. Balls are found in many shapes like spherical and round but these can be void as well. In many games, the play follows by the hit of balls like it is hit or kicked or thrown. These balls can be used in simpler activities as well. We can use it in catching, marbles and juggling. We can make balls by using wearing metals which are used inn engineering and these provide frictionless bearing. This bearing is known as ball bearing.
There are so many types of balls available today. These balls are usually are with rubber. Balls were known to many for long time outside of America. Bouncing rubber balls were used in the Spain for the first time in Europe. Mainly the use of the balls is in sports and so many sports are played with balls. In different games, different shapes of the balls are used. Like in the games of golf and quash, small balls are used. While in many games like football and basketball large balls are used. In other games like cricket and hockey, much harder balls are used.
The history of the balls is way back and it is thought that it was first used in the sports in 1205. But form the study of the history we come to know that balls have been used in the games and other activities for a long time. These balls are made with different material. Usually rubber is used in the preparation of the balls but in some cases, other materials are also used. Like in the game of cricket, leather and wood is used and in the golf ball, hard surface is made with some other material. But one thing is clear that all these balls are the base of any game.
